Alice Cross

Alice has been a teacher, a college instructor, a URI Master Gardener, a published writer of film reviews, personal essays and short stories, as well as being a mother and grandmother.

Below is a link to a story by Alice which was published in Hawaii Pacific Review in November 2025. She has also had stories published in Persimmon Tree, and Snowy Egret. She was a 2024 Linden Place Resident Writer and is to have a piece included in their upcoming anthology.

Here are photos of her gardens, which play a prominent part in Outside's in..., including as a resting spot for weary bumble bees.
